Sound Adjustment Mode

Parametric equalizer adjustment (PEQ)

When the 4-speaker layout is selected, 7-band parametric equalizers can be adjusted.

When the 3 way speaker layout is selected, 11-band parametric equalizers can be adjusted for the Hi range, Mid range and Low range.

Each band can be set to the following median frequencies:

  • It is not possible to set more than one band in the same channel and median frequency. Either change the median frequency of the current band, or change the median frequency of another band.

1Press the [SELECT] (Up/Down) button to select PEQ.

2Press the [ENTER] button.

The PEQ setting mode is activated.

3Press the [ENTER] button to select the band to be adjusted.

Each time the button is pressed, the band changes in the following order.

When the 4-speaker layout is selected:

1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 1 →···

When the 3 way speaker layout is selected:

Hi 1 → Hi 2 → Hi 3 → Hi 4 → Hi 5 → Mid 1 → Mid 2 → Mid 3 → Mid 4 → Mid 5 → Low → Hi 1 →···

4Press the [SELECT] (Right/Left) button to select the frequency to be adjusted.

5Press the [SELECT] (Up/Down) button for less than one second to adjust the frequency level.

Up :
Increases the level.

Down :
Decreases the level.

6Press the [SELECT] (Up/Down) button for more than one second to adjust the Q curve pattern.

Each time the button is pressed, the Q curve pattern changes in the following order.

WIDE ↔ Mid WIDE ↔ NORMAL ↔Mid NARROW ↔ NARROW ↔WIDE ↔···

7Repeat the steps 3 to 6 to change the settings for each channel and band.

8Press a button from [1] to [5] for more than two seconds to preset a setting value.

The preset value is overwritten by the value set using the above steps.

The time alignment and crossover adjustments will also be stored at this time.
