ID3 Tags

MP3 files have an “ID3 Tag” that allows input of information so that data such as a track title and artist can be saved.

This receiver supports ID3v. 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4.

Format of USB Memory

The following explains the definitions of these standards.

  • Maximum directory layers:

  • 8 layers

  • Maximum characters for file names:

  • Up to 254 characters (Total of folder name, file name, “.”, and 3-character file extension)

  • File name characters that you can use:

  • A to Z, 0 to 9, and underscore (_)

  • Max number of files that can be stored in a single memory:

  • 2000 files
