Requirement:
Blank SD memory card* with a capacity of 2G.
 *Note: SDHC card not compatible
Note:
The Map updates, Sync Tool, and Toolbox are services provided by naviextras.com.
Please consult eclipse.naviextras.com if there are any questions or inquiries regarding the Map updates.
- With your internet-connected PC, please visit eclipse.naviextras.com and register an account.
Choose your navigation device from the pull-down menu.
- After an account has been activated, press DOWNLOADS on the toolbar and proceed to download both "TOOLBOX" and
"SYNCTOOL" to PC.
- Copy the unzipped folder of the SYNCTOOL into the root folder of the SD card.
Then eject the SD card from PC.

- Insert SD card into your navigation device by pressing eject button ,then【OPEN】.
- Press【NAVI】button, then on the touchscreen, press【MENU】⇒【SETTING】⇒【ABOUT】⇒【UPDATE】and wait for the SYNCTOOL menu screen to appear
NOTE: While SYNCTOOL is in use, make sure not to switch off the navigation device or remove
any SD cards.
- Press【Collect device information】and follow the prompts until completion.
(This takes about 15 minutes)
- When backup of information to the SD card is complete, a screen will appear saying "Update or
Backup successfully completed without errors". Press【OK】to continue.
The device will ask you "Do you really want to quit?". Please select【Yes】.
Then remove the SD card and Press【Continue】.
- Insert the SD card into PC and open Naviextras TOOLBOX, and log into your account.
- Select【Backup & Restore】to create backup of current map data on the SD card.
- Select【Get Maps & More】to purchase updated maps for your device.

- Once payment is successful, press【CONTINUE WITH TOOLBOX】to download new maps onto the SD card.

- Once completed, shut down the TOOLBOX and safely remove the SD card.
- To install map update into your device, insert the SD card and start SYNCTOOL as per Point 4and 5 above.
- Press [Copy updates to your device] to begin the map update process.
(This takes about 3 - 4 minutes)
- When copying of new map information to your device is complete, a screen will appear saying
"Update or Backup successfully completed without errors". Press【OK】to continue.
The device will ask you "Do you really want to quit?". Please select【Yes】.
Then remove the SD card and Press【Continue】.
