What are Innovations Awards? The Consumer Electronics Show or CES as it is more familiarly known, is the world's greatest technology showcase. Held in Las Vegas in January of each year, this immense tradeshow had more than 140,000 attendees from 115 countries this year, eager to view the latest and most exciting new products from manufacturers. During the show, CES confers prestigious awards on groundbreaking products and technologies. Among these, the most coveted for a manufacturer are the Innovations Awards that spotlight truly cutting-edge technologies and products. The products so honored are also displayed in a special area for the duration of the show. For CES 2005, the ECLIPSE AVN5495 received an Innovations Award.
